In Geneva and Zurich the train station is in the airport building enabling you to take your baggage cart directly from arrivals to the train.

From Zurich or Geneva you must take the mainline train toward Sion or Sierre. The train takes you alongside lakes, vineyards and mountains.

 

 

An efficient coach, bus and taxi service from Sion or Sierre is available. A funicular also links Sierre to Crans-Montana. The route, which is a little more than 4 km, with a 927 meter height difference, takes just 12 minutes, at a speed of 8 m/second. A 100 place car park is available under the departure station in Sierre.
