Patscherkofel. Getting There

Tyrol, Austria.
Patscherkofel is located just seven kilometers from Innsbruck and is easily reached by car and bus.
 
By Air

Flying to Münich (125 km) or Innsbruck are the best options.

By Train/Bus​

Trains of Austria's OBB or Germany's DB railway companies take you safely to Kitzbühel.

​

Line J (IVB bus) runs from Mon to Fri in a 10-minute interval as well as Sat, Sun and on public holidays in a 15-minute interval from Innsbruck directly to the valley station of the Patscherkofelbahn.

By Car

From Vienna: A12 motorway.

  

From Switzerland: A12 motorway. Through the Arlberg Road Tunnel or toll-free via the Arlberg region.

  

From Italy: A13 (Brenner motorway); tolls apply from the exit Innsbruck-Süd.

  

From Munich: A 12 motorway.

Also by the A 95 through Garmisch-Partenkirchen

  

Coming from the Inntal Autobahn, take the Innsbruck Mitte exit - continue towards Igls - via Vill to the village of Igls - continue towards Patsch to the Patscherkofelbahn valley station.

  

Coming from Brenner / Italy to the Patsch motorway exit - continue via Patsch to the Patscherkofelbahn valley station.

  

The use of the Vignette (Toll Sticker) is mandatory in Austria. 1-year, 2-month and 10-day vignettes are available. The Vignette should be clearlyvisible on the inside of thewindscreen (we recommend the topleft corner or close to the rear viewmirror).You can buy it in Around 6,000 sales outlets (petrolstations, newsstands, motoringassociations and ASFINAG tollsites) which clearly displaythe vignette symbol.

  

In Austria like in many other European countries the use of winter tyres is mandatory from November to April.
