Pal Arinsal, family skiing
The ski resorts of Pal and Arinsal are located in the parish (communitie) of La Massana, amongst the picturesque valleys of the north-west of Andorra. The parish is extremely mountainous and contains the highest mountain in the country, Coma Pedrosa (2,942 m). Both resorts are linked by a cable car, located in the Coll de la Botella sector (in Pal) and Port Negre (in Arinsal), forming a single ski area.
We can access the ski area from the center of the town of La Massana using a gondola lift that will take us to the Pal sector. ​The ski domain, the second largest one in Andorra, is located just 6 km from Andorra la Vella.

The base of the ski area is located at 1,500 m and the highest point of it is at 2,560 m which means a vertical drop of 1,010 m.

In Pal Arinsal the atmosphere is very familiar, with a wide and complete range of activities for all ages.
Pal Arinsal has 31 ski lifts and 63 Kilometers of slopes: 5 FIS-approved slalom slopes, 7 green slopes, 19 blue slopes, 18 red slopes, 4 black slopes. A modern artificial snowmaking system with 373 snow cannons, covers 68% of the resort’s skiable area (43km).

In the sector of Arinsal we find the mythical black piste and the longest slope in Andorra: La Capa.​

In addition, lovers of mountain skiing or Freeride have 5 marked mountain ski routes and 2 marked Freeride areas.
The ski resort also has ski schools, 6 stores for rent and sale of material, reservation center, Wi-Fi area, Freestyle area (with Half Pipe, Slope Style, Rails Avenue, Kids Junior Rails and permanent circuit of Boarder Cross and Ski Cross), Slalom Area, 1 Fun Park, 1 Baby Club (for children up to 4 years old) and a Snow Garden. In addition, it has a wide range of activities on the snow: mushing, snowmobiles, snowmobiles for children, Jump, snowshoes, skibikes, Trikke ski, helicopter flights, Snow Retrack, Tubbing and Paragliding.
Pal Arinsal have 5 a la carte restaurants, 2 self-services, 1 pizzeria, 1 creperie, and some great international restaurants and bars catering for every taste including a couple of Argentinian steak houses, 1 Mexican restaurant, and a lively Irish bar.

The ski resort has a free bus service linking the two sectors: Arinsal and Pal (La Massana).

Pal Arinsal hosts three World Cups every year: ISMF Mountain Skiing, UCI MTB and Skyrace Comapedrosa Trail Running.
