Ordino Arcalís, extreme ski.

Ordino Arcalís is the most alpine ski area in Andorra, and is well-known for offering the best quality and the largest amount of snow in the Pyrenees thanks to its northern orientation. In addition, its snow guarantee is increased by having 60% of the ski area cover by snow cannons or what is the same 18 km of snow-covered slopes.

Those who start practicing skiing can use a free rope tow located in the Debutants Zone.
In recent years Ordino Arcalís has become a Freeride mecca in the Pyrenees. With more than 120 off-piste itineraries, it has become a worldwide reference, for the prestigious Freeride World Tour circuit. Ordino Arcalís has become a permanent fixture on tour, and for a good reason, with playful terrain offering opportunities for explosive action and creative freeride lines.
The Freeride World Tour (FWT) is the most important freeride competition in the world.
Created in 2008, the FWT became an even more global event in 2012 with the union of the Freeski World Tour, which had been held in North America, the North Face Masters of Snowboarding, and the Swatch Freeride World Tour. Along with the unification of the calendar of the three competitions, the increase of the qualification events - Freeride World Qualifier (FWQ) - and the creation of the Junior Freeride Tour, have contributed to the consolidation and growth of the Freeride World Tour.
Ordino Arcalís has spectacular Freeride areas easily accessible. In particular, 4 Freeride marked itineraries with a total of 3.4 km plus another 120 km unmarked.
Ordino Arcalís offers a wide and varied range of activities for non-skiers, including activities such as Heliski, snowmobiles, Speed-ride, GICA caterpillar, tandem paragliding and snowshoeing.
One more thing. If you are food lover we recomend you to visit two charming places in Ordino Arcalís. The newly renovated Borda de la Coma and El Refugi Les Portelles which, at an altitude of 2,550 metres, is the highest gourmet restaurant in Andorra. And if you want to experience a unique adventure, we recommend to have dinner at la Borda de la Coma restaurant, at 2,200 m high, and then ski down under the moonlight.
